I did this song on a Men's retreat on Sunday morning. I always felt the song had a spiritual side to it. When you first accept the Lord, doesn't it feel like you can See Clearly Now!

In my family growing up, sarcasm was our first language. If you didn't speak it or understand it, you were lost most of the time! This song has an element of that language. My kids love this song. They play it all the time and sing along at the top of their lungs! Oh Death, you are dead to me!

Here is the leader of MercyMe, Bart Millard, talking about how the song was written. He also wrote the song, "I can only imagine." The movie by the same name is about his life growing up. MercyMe is one of my favorite bands.
